WordPress 6.0.2 security update released
On 30.08.2022 the version 6.0.2 of WordPress was released.
This release is a security and maintenance release that fixes the following 3 security-related bugs, among others:
- SQL Injection within the Link API
- XSS possibility in the plugin screen
- Output escaping problem within the function "the_meta()".
In addition, 12 bugs in the WordPress Core and 5 bugs in the Block Editor have been fixed.
Due to the security related bugs an update is highly recommended.
